The first violets herald spring as soon as the snow is gone

Take a walk in the forest and revel in the first signs of spring. The first violets, branches and moss gathered along the way make delightful decorations. We use small old-fashioned pie tins and fill them with moss and violets for a beautiful spring centre piece. This and more decorating ideas inspired by a walk in the woods.
