The Good Shepherd is a knitwear brand founded in 2013 by RCA graduate Emily Watts. Emily creates intricately knitted fabrics imbued with a strong sense of British identity, rooted to culture, process and place. The Good Shepherd draws inspiration from the modern landscape of Shetland, following a research trip to Shetland's northern most isles. The hand-knitted throws and cushions combine Shetland tradition with modern aesthetic, made from luxurious Blue-faced Leicester wool and Polyurthane yarn. The pieces represent British products that are both luxurious and modern, combining traditional yarns with the more slick and man-made.
