This London townhouse works hard to provide a comfortable family home as well as display space for eclectic collections of antique furniture, colourful glass, and costume jewellery. The owners: Louise is a vintage costume jewellery dealer (ferdinandojewels. co. uk) and her husband Thomas is an antique dealer and the creative director for the Masterpiece fair in London (masterpiecefair. com). This four bedroom, four storey London townhouse was built at the end of the Regency period, in 1829; it was substantially altered in the 1970s when the two main reception rooms were knocked through into their current L shape. They describe the decor as 'simple and unfussy, Thomas and I have so many varied collections, we tend to choose muted paint colours and unpatterned soft furnishings. ’
